I’m booked up to give to talks at my former high school and secondary school in London, talking to 15-17 year olds, up to 400 kids, about life post-school and how to stay motivated.
This will be an interesting experience for me because I really don’t know what to expect. I’m really passionate about motivating and encouraging others, so it’s a great opportunity to put my skills to good use.
I’m proud of myself for finding the courage to contact my old schools. I was definitely out of my comfort zone and I kept thinking I don’t have enough accolades to give a talk. Still, I think my story and my message is important and interesting enough, and I hope to positively influence somebody in the room.
I expect that these will be the first of many, many motivational talks I give in the years to come.
