The Good Life Wants ME

So right now I’m reporting live from a flat my friends and I are renting in Copenhagen, Denmark; it’s snowing outside but I’m nice, warm and comfy on the sofa having just finished my healthy breakfast. Later today we are going to rent bikes, visit the cute town of Christiana and go to a house party in the evening. But the purpose of this post isn’t to talk about how much I love Copenhagen (though I really do love the city)! I want to share how being actively optimistic is transforming my life each and everyday.

I’ve committed myself to living and really enjoying life everyday and so far it has truly been amazing. Everyday for the last month I’ve felt excited, optimistic and grateful, and in turn, that is what I’m getting back from other people, and in the form of new experiences/opportunities. As I said at the start of the year, I am unstoppable, I achieve every goal I set for myself and I’m living the life of my dreams.

As soon as I wake up in the morning I’m focussed on positive thoughts and gratitude. I envision my goals, the type of person I want to be and I give thanks for all that I have. This immediately fills me with courage and excitement, which therefore sets me up for a great day. To expand on this feeling, throughout the week I watch or listen to motivational content which cover various topics such as determination, attaining wealth and being compassionate. Because of this, I find I always have valuable and productive ideas floating around my mind and, as a result, this subconsciously influences my own behaviour in a positive way. My preference is to listen to lengthier podcasts during a walk because it’s much easier to focus my attention and appreciate their lessons. Whenever I have time on my hands you may also catch me reading a book on self-development and/or –motivation. On top of this, another thing I love doing is listening to music when multitasking. At home I’ve always got some playlist going which gets me salsa-ing, whining or just more energetic.

Overall, because I put out positivity I know I also attract positivity into my life. Without a doubt, the world is my oyster and epic things are set to come. That being said, it’s now time to put on some layers, go outside and roll around in the snow!
Watch this space.
