Gotta have them role models!

This is my don! Bob is an amazing motivational speaker and consultant whose priority is to help people help themselves. I really like his energy, his spirit and all that he stands for. I’ve watching loads of his educational videos online and have found them to be super helpful, encouraging and transformative in my life. Because of his honest and direct approach, I really do trust him and I believe he cares for me, although he has no idea who I am. His teachings are based on the laws of the universe therefore he speaks from both a scientific and a spiritual mind. His best qualities are his compassion, his sincerity and his positive mentality.

Now this woman is amazing. I first came across her some years ago in the film ‘La Vie en Rose’ (directed by Olivier Dahan) in which she portrayed Edith Piaf and went on to win many awards for her performance including an Oscar and a Cesar (the “French” Oscar). As an actor, what I admire about Marion is her consistency  and commitment to authenticity.

The Dark Knight Rises - European Premiere

Whatever the role, she fully embodies the character and is always able to give a credible,
moving performance. Another great film of hers which I highly recommend is ‘Rust and Bone’ (directed by Jacques Audiard), a drama in which she loses both her legs in a marine-park accident but gains love. As I woman, I think Marion has a lot of integrity and stands up for what she believes in. She is an activist, environmentalist and spokesperson for Greenpeace which shows she cares about the bigger picture, not just what’s going on in her own world. My dream is to one day work with Marion on a French feature-film.

Mi Madre:

Being a parent is difficult and no one can deny that. In fact, it’s often described as the hardest job in the world. However, as a kids we don’t really notice how hard it is because that stuff doesn’t (and shouldn’t) cross our minds e.g. the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the bills that need to be paid, the sacrifices, etc. Over the last few weeks, I’ve realised that my mum is truly a superwoman and she goes above and beyond to help her kids and provide for us. On top of this, she has faced a lot of adversity and come through on top. Her determination and selflessness is inspiring and admirable and it is what makes her such a great person to know and love. Merci maman!
