I have decided to start this blog as I have set some particularly ambitious goals for myself this year (financial, fitness, career, etc.) and I would like to document my experiences. At the end of 2015, as with every year, I will review all my goals and reflect on the year with my closest friends. It is important to regularly go back to my list of goals in order to refocus myself and to acknowledge any achievements made. This is what I have planned for the week ahead.
Tomorrow I have two auditions: one in Brighton and the other in Central London. I have being preparing myself mentally to impress the audition panel by delivering credible performances. There is obviously more prep to be done, but I do believe that I am making excellent progress. On Wednesday I have an audition for the BA Acting degree course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow where I will have to preform 2 monologues (one contemporary and the other a Shakespeare). I went to visit the school on October 17th 2014 during the Drama Open Day. It was a highly productive day, jam-packed with talks, tours and workshops; I didn’t get a chance to explore the city because I had to catch a train to London before the event finished. However, from what I experienced, Glasgow is a vibrant and welcoming city.
On Friday, I will most definitely be watching the new episode of ‘The Dumping Ground’. If I’m in London I might have some sort of screening with some mates at my house!
These are my top 5 goals for 2015:
- Adapt a healthier lifestyle by exercising regularly and eating well
- Travel to 7 new cities
- Inspire and motivate others
- Start working as a model, do more commercials and voiceover work
- Develop and maintain an impenetrably positive and confident mind set
